Great service. Food was fantastic. The fries did seem like they had been sitting out would be my only complaint. Our waitress was amazing. The avocado on my fiancé salad was missing. She brought us a whole container to take home with us for the other half of her salad!

On the outside this place looks like every other building. However you step inside and it transforms into what feels like the inside of a large log cabin that someone has then transformed into a bar and dinning room. I loved the atmosphere. I ordered the Whiskey Tavern Burger ($15.50). This has bacon, haystack onions, Jack Daniels BBQ, and chipotle jack cheese. This burger was phenomenal. Melts in your mouth goodness. I devoured the burger and seriously considered ordering another. This burger has just cracked my Top 3 burgers in Grand Rapids. Perfectly cooked with the perfect toppings. The accompanying fries were good, just nothing special. The service was good and friendly. Overall a perfect 5 star review. Would I return? I'll be back very soon!

Local, casual dining at its best! Great variety of burgers and sandwiches. I had a reuben with fries. It was delicious and more than enough for lunch. The bread on the reuben was falling apart (the sandwich was very moist) which made it difficult to eat, but that did not affect the flavor. Pete's placed a roll of paper towels on the table, which helped with the juicy sandwiches! Some in my group substitued slaw for the fries. It was a generous portion and looked delicious. Service was great and the location is easily accessible. Our group will be back!

Went to Pete’s Tavern with my friends today, bathrooms right by the back door, very accessible. Open tables, bar, very friendly environment. Spoke with a women named Cari, who talked to my friends and I about bands and music. Very friendly, made us feel very welcomed :) Love coming here, open late hours, comfortable booths. A little on the expensive side, we did order cheese curds that came with about 20 small ones and were 14$ 🤨 Was also charged 0.75$ for small cup of sour cream so that was interesting. Otherwise the portions for the meals were large and very good.

My husband and I eat out frequently. We often say… It doesn’t seem that hard to make a fresh salad or a good burger, and yet so many restaurants struggle to do it. Pete’s Tavern is always fresh, from the homemade ranch and olive spread to the local meat. The salads, the burgers, the BLT - my husband‘s favorite, are always incredible. Thanks so much for keeping it fresh and local Petes.

From the outside, this place blends in with the surrounding buildings and doesn’t immediately stand out. Once you walk inside, though, it feels like stepping into a completely different setting. The interior has the charm of a large log cabin that’s been thoughtfully turned into a bar and dining space, creating a warm and rustic atmosphere that feels both historic and well cared for. The unique setting really adds to the overall experience and makes it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal. The burger was solid—somewhere between good and great—with satisfying flavor and a nice preparation. Between the distinctive interior and the enjoyable food, it’s definitely a spot that leaves a positive impression once you step through the door.

I had the Olive Burger. It was great! They sure do love olive burgers around the parts. If you are not familiar, it's a ground beef hamburger topped with olive relish and other accoutrements, which vary from restaurant to restaurant. My friend got a really big pretzel. It came served on a hook. Like a banana hook that some people have, but don't need. He said it was too salty. I do not believe that there can be too much salt on a pretzel.

Wife and I stopped here a while back and it was so busy. We decided to go somewhere else and finally was able to make it back here and try some food, and wow the food is amazing! My wife ended up getting a cheeseburger and she loved it. I ended up with the blackened chicken sandwich aka Southwest grinder. The chicken was tender and juicy and just the right amount of season The service was fast and friendly along with a clean dining area .Would highly recommend trying this place if you've never been.
